The Original Redline Club Car were the 3 Chrome variations of the Spoiler series - Boss Hoss, King Cuda and Heavy Chevy. In the 1990's the Redline Club (RLC) was started up again, and the first new RLC car was the Spring Break S'Cool Bus. Some of the Hot Rod Hooch Hot Wheel RLC cars are put in other sections (Mustangs) but most are here.

In 2005, members of the Redline Club were given the choice to vote for thier favorite car - which would be SELECTIONS cars. This is one of the most revolutionary collectible concepts to be introduced by any company. Members vote on thier favorite designs, and Hot Wheels makes as many as ordered. It came down to the Plymouth Barracude, with the GMC Motorhome winning with 55% of the vote. The voters also voted for the Redline wheels and the cool Ice Blue Spectraflame paint. This is the first of 4 SELECTIONS Redline Club cars produced for 2005.
